SWPPP NARRATIVE • • 6/13/2019
PAUL BUSTARD SHOR PLAT LOT 4 PAGE 6 OF 6>
One area that shows potential for erosion is always present with pervious pavement. Since the pavement allows
surface water to freely percolate through and infiltrate through the underlying media, this creates an erosion
concern. It is critical that the underlying media is compacted properly and at a correct depth, or the water
infiltrating may cause sinkholes and other underground erosion problems, which could ultimately damage the
surfacing.
8. CONSTRUCTION SEQUENCE & PHASING
1. Attend preconstruction meeting with City of Everett.
2. Call 811 for underground locates.
3. Install temporary erosion control measures.
4. Clear and stockpile topsoil as necessary.
5. Grade as necessary for building construction.
6. Construct building.
7. Replace stockpiled topsoil and seed or landscape.
8. Remove TESC measures once project work is complete.
No phasing is proposed for the project.
9. CONSTRUCTION SCHEDULE
Following is a conceptual construction schedule:
Summer 2019 Work Begins — Erosion controls installed and clearing limits identified. Prepare
building pad for construction. Recondition compacted areas and stabilize with
seeding.
10. FINANCIAL/OWNERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES
Required bonding will be provided as required by the City of Everett.
11. ENGINEERING CALCULATIONS
Due to the small scope of the proposed work and since there is no need for significant erosion control facilities,
no erosion control engineering calculations have been prepared.
C:\Users\darianc\Desktop\CE\DOGS\Bustard SWPPP Lot 4.docx
