This noise <br /> survey extends from lhe proposed equipment to the nearest properties. The purpose of this <br /> report is to document the existing conditions and llie impacts of the acoustical changes due to <br /> the proposed equipment. This report contains data on the existing and predicted noise <br /> environments, impact criteria and an evalualion of the predicted sound levels as they relate to <br /> lhe criteria. <br /> Ambient Cor.ditions <br /> Existing ambi�nt noise levels were measured on site with a Larson-Davis 320 sound level meter <br /> on February 10. 2008. Measurements were conducted as close to the proposed location as <br /> possible and the property lines in accordance with the Slate of Washington code for Maximum <br /> Environmenlal Noise Levels WAC 173-60-020. The average ambient noise level was 57 d6(A), <br /> due to traffic noise on Glenwood Avenue. The weather during lhe measur� nents was cloudy <br /> wilh light precipitation and lhe roads were wet. <br /> Code Requirements <br /> The site is located within lhe City of Everett Zoning jurisdiction on property with a Residential <br /> zoning designation. Everett Municipal Code 20.08.020 defines this as District I. The receiving <br /> properties are also within District I. <br /> The proposed new equipment includes equipment support cabinets and an emergency <br /> generator. The equipment support cabinets are expected to run 24 hours a day. The generator <br /> will run once a week during daytime hours for maintenance and tesling purposes only. <br /> Under Everett Municipal Code 20.08.040 noise from equipment on a within District I is limited as <br /> follows: <br /> District I Receiver: Noise is limited to 55 dB(A) during daytime hours.
