Project summary statement: The Citizens Advisory Committee on Housing, Community Development, and Human Needs met on April 20, 2020 for identify COVID-19 related needs and August 20, 2020 to review 2021 Human Needs Grant Funding priorities. Based on public input and the 2019 Community Needs Assessment, the Committee recommends priority funding for the programs supporting Housing, Mental and Behavior Health, and Homelessness including how it relates to the growing needs in these categories to support impacts of the COVID- 19 pandemic. A Request for Grant Applications will be issued following City Council approval of the priorities. Recommendation (exact action requested of Council): Adopt Resolution establishing Human Needs Priorities for 2021 Grant Funding.
