In consideration of the mutual benefits and <br />covenants contained herein, the parties agree as follows: <br />1. Purpose of Agreement; Scope of Services. The purpose of this Agreement is to <br />establish the parameters for providing funding for small businesses on a reimbursable basis <br />through a relief grant program administered by the City of Everett. The scope of the project is <br />defined in Schedule A attached hereto and by this reference made a part hereof. <br />The project defined in Schedule A shall be performed in accordance with the <br />requirements of this Agreement and with generally accepted practices prevailing in the western <br />Washington region in the occupation or industry in which the City practices or operates at the <br />time the services are performed Any materials or equipment used by the City in connection with <br />performing the services shall be of good quality. <br />The City will prepare and present status reports and other information regarding <br />performance of the Agreement as the County may request. <br />2. Term of Agreement; Time of Performance. This Agreement shall be effective upon <br />contract execution (the "Effective Date') and shall terminate on December 30, 2020.
