The cash out will be deposited into a Health Reimbursement Arrangement/Voluntary Employee Benefit Association account. Project summary statement: Certain provisions of prior ordinances related to appointive employee compensation and fringe benefits have become outdated or require clarification. The purpose of this amendment is to make clarifications and updates regarding workdays, insurance plans, floating holidays, vacation accrual and other matters for appointive employees and city council members. As per EMC 2.74.090 the mayor and municipal court judges will be subject to the changes reflected in Sections 2.74.010 through 2.74.050 of the proposed amended ordinance. Staff will provide an overview of the changes in a briefing at the 11/25/20 city council meeting.
