We <br />keep our properties clean and maintained as a matter of course. The only people that I can see would benefit <br />from this would be the big boy like Skotdal. Would they maybe have had something to do with establish this <br />business? <br />It would seem that the city of Everett no longer wants private rental properties in the city. Between you and the <br />State with the taxing, and regulations you are creating an environment where the only solution to small rental <br />property owners are going to sell. It has already begun. When these individual rental properties sell in today's <br />market they do not go into the rental pool they become homes. <br />Please try to keep the small operators in mind when you are looking at these kind of taxes. We want to provide <br />clean safe housing for tenants and have been for 20 years. Ask our tenants. <br />Maybe the big boys don't want to be bothered cleaning up their own properties but we take care of our own. <br />Maybe a better system would be fines for property owners who dont keep their property kept up. <br />Thank You <br />A very concerned citizen , landlord, and voter. <br />Rick Benton <br />1 <br />
