The utility installed monitoring <br />equipment on the transformer used exclusively to provide power to the Everett Transit's <br />electric bus charging systems. Transit staff and PUD officials reviewed the subsequent <br />monthly reports and identified opportunities to reduce the cost of electricity through <br />demand management. This agreement will allow the PUD to reduce Everett Transit's <br />cost of electricity when Transit charges buses during the hours of least demand. <br />• <br />Recommendation (exact action requested of Council): <br />Authorize the Mayor to sign the Time of Day Load Profile Data Participation Agreement <br />Amendment. <br />
