If a <br />price increase is approved in part or in full, the resulting new contract pricing will be implemented <br />through a contract amendment. <br />Contract extensions and price adjustments: Contractors may not make contract extensions <br />contingent on price adjustments. <br />5.7 iascellHaneous expenses <br />Expenses related to day-to-day contract performance (including but not limited to travel, lodging, <br />meals, and incidentals) will not be reimbursed to the contractor. However, DES recognizes that <br />there may be occasions when the purchaser requires the bidder to travel. In such cases the <br />purchaser must provide written pre -approval of such expenses on a case -by -case basis. Any such <br />reimbursement will be at rates not to exceed the guidelines for state employees published by the <br />Washington State office of Financial Management set forth in the Washington State Administrative <br />& Accounting Manual, and not to exceed expenses actually incurred. <br />Page 12 of 15 <br />
