<br />PORTION OF THE WORK, CAREFULLY STUDY AND COMPARE THE VARIOUS
<br />DRAWINGS AND OTHER CONTRACT DOCUMENTS RELATIVE TO THAT PORTION OF
<br />THE WORK, AS WELL AS INFORMATION FURNISHED BY OWNER. TAKE FIELD
<br />MEASUREMENTS OF ANY EXISTING CONDITIONS RELATED TO THAT PORTION OF
<br />THE WORK AND OBSERVE CONDITIONS AT THE SITE AFFECTING IT. THESE
<br />OBLIGATIONS ARE FOR THE PURPOSE OF FACILITATING CONSTRUCTION BY THE
<br />CONTRACTOR AND NOT FOR THE PURPOSE OF DISCOVERING ERRORS,
<br />OMISSIONS, OR INCONSISTENCIES IN THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS; HOWEVER,
<br />REPORT ERRORS, OMISSIONS, OR INCONSISTENCIES DISCOVERED BY THE

<br />7. REPORT DISCREPANCIES IN CONTRACT DOCUMENTS TO CONSULTANT FOR
<br />CLARIFICATION PRIOR TO COMMENCING WORK.
<br />8. IMMEDIATELY NOTIFY BUILDING ENVELOPE CONSULTANT UPON DISCOVERY OF
<br />ADDITIONAL UNFORESEEN DAMAGE TO EXISTING CONSTRUCTION SCHEDULED TO
<br />REMAIN AND THAT IS OUTSIDE THE CONTRACT. REQUEST A REVIEW. DO NOT

<br />ORDER TO INSTALL EAVE PROTECTION MEMBRANE. INSTALL NEW
<br />UNDERLAYMENT UNDER EXISTING UNDERLAYMENT MIN. 12' AND EXTEND TO
<br />EAVE.
<br />c.INSTALL SELF -ADHERED MEMBRANE OVER ROOF SHEATHING AT EDGE OF
<br />EAVE/SOFFIT, LAP DOWN TOWARDS SOFFIT. INSTALL NEW PREFINISHED METAL
<br />EDGE FLASHING ALONG ROOF EDGE AND ON TOP OF SELF -ADHERED

<br />SELF -ADHERING MEMBRANE AROUND EACH PENETRATION, LENGTH TO BE
<br />DETERMINED BY TYPE OF PENETRATION.
<br />c. INSTALL NEW FLASHING OVER SELF -ADHERED MEMBRANE. SELF -ADHERING
<br />MEMBRANE TO LAP OVER ROOFING UNDERLAYMENT ON LOWER SIDE, AND

<br />c. INSTALL A NEW WOOD CURB AT THE OPENING TO THE SKYLIGHT.
<br />d. INSTALL AN INSULATED RECOVER BOARD UP THE CURB AND RIGID INSULATION
<br />AT THE HIGH SIDE TO CREATE A CRICKET.
<br />e. INSTALL A SELF-ADHESIVE MEMBRANE TO LAP 6" MINIMUM OVER THE ROOFING
<br />UNDERLAYMENT AND UP THE CURB AND UNDER THE SKYLIGHT FRAME.
<br />f. INSTALL NEW METAL APRON FLASHING AROUND SKYLIGHT OPENING AND OVER
<br />SELF-ADHESIVE MEMBRANE.
<br />g. INSTALL NEW THERMALLY BROKEN SKYLIGHT, MORRISON HERSHFIELD
<br />RECOMMENDS VELUX. INSTALL NEW SHINGLES AROUND AREA, LAP HIGH SIDE
<br />SHINGLES OVER FLASHING, LAP LOW SIDE SHINGLES UNDER FLASHING.
<br />8)PROVIDE AN ALLOWANCE PER EACH BUILDING FOR MISC. ATTIC REPAIRS SUCH AS
