Project summary statement: The Secondary Service Contract requires Snohomish County Public Utility District No. 1 to provide for specific electrical power and levels of service needs at the Evergreen Way Pumping Station. The contract also requires the City to implement updates to the electrical controls in order to reduce power demand. This amendment modifies Section 5.7 of the contract to extend the period for power reductions from 10 to 12 years. Recommendation (exact action requested of Council): Authorize the Mayor to sign Amendment No. 1 to the Secondary Service Contract with Snohomish County Public Utility District No. 1.
