parker <br /> STAFFING <br /> SnoCo Cares / Parker Staffing Partnership Agreement <br /> This Partnership Agreement(the"Agreement") is made as of November 20, 2020 by and between Parker <br /> Staffing Services, LLC ("PARKER") (dba Parker Staffing) with its principal office located at 2200 Sixth <br /> Avenue, Suite 925, Seattle, WA 98121, and City of Everett ("CLIENT") with its principal office located <br /> at 2930 Wetmore Ave, Suite 10A, Everett, WA 98201 ("Parties") agree to the terms and conditions <br /> set forth in this agreement. All hourly bill rates under this agreement will be paid by Workforce <br /> Snohomish using allocated "CARES" Grant funding. <br /> PARKER <br /> 1. Duties and Responsibilities <br /> PARKER will <br /> a. Recruit, screen, interview and assign its employees ("Contractors"), at PARKER's <br /> discretion, to perform work under CLIENT's supervision and will, as the common law <br /> employer of Contractor's, be responsible for the following: <br /> b. Pay Contractors' wages and provide them with the benefits that PARKER offers to them; <br /> c. Pay, withhold, and transmit all payroll taxes; provide all required unemployment insurance <br /> and workers' compensation benefits; and handle unemployment and workers' <br /> compensation claims involving Contractors; <br /> d. Require Contractors to sign agreements acknowledging that they are not entitled to <br /> holidays, vacations, disability benefits, insurance, pensions, or retirement plans, or any <br /> other benefits offered or provided by CLIENT; and <br /> e. Require Contractors to sign confidentiality agreements before they begin their assignment <br /> to CLIENT. <br /> f. Comply with federal, state and local labor and employment laws applicable to Contractors, <br /> including the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986; the Internal Revenue Code; <br /> the Employee Retirement Income Security Act ("ERISA"); the Health Insurance Portability <br /> and Accountability Act ("HIPAA"); the Family Medical Leave Act; Title VII of the Civil Rights <br />
