Total compensation will <br />not exceed $100,000 over the four-year period. Monies are out of Fund 401 and within <br />budgeted amounts. <br />Project summary statement: <br />The City is contracting with HDR, Inc. for assistance with the National Pollutant <br />Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit renewal processes with the Washington <br />State Department of Ecology. This includes support for both the individual NPDES <br />permit, expected in 2021, and the draft and final versions of the Puget Sound Nutrient <br />General Permit. <br />Services include permitting support and strategy, review of applications, analysis, <br />sampling plans, a nitrogen optimization and management concept plan, and various <br />administrative meetings, drafts and reviews. <br />Recommendation (exact action requested of Council): <br />Authorize the Mayor to sign the Professional Services Agreement with HDR Engineering, <br />Inc. for assistance with permit processes, in an amount not to exceed $100,000. <br />
