Open Stair: <br /> Levels B-1, 1, 2, 3, and 4 qualify as open parking per Section 709. Stairs <br /> in an open parking garage are allowed to be unenclosed per Section <br /> 3309, Exception 3. <br /> Level B-2 does not meet openness requirements per Section 709 and is <br /> required to be ventilated per Section 705. The stairway serving Level <br /> B-2 serves only one adjacent floor and is not connected with corridors or <br /> stairways serving other floors. Section 3309, Exception 1, allows this <br /> stair to be unenclosed.
