Staff has <br /> completed a review of these documents and found them acceptable. <br /> The staffs review is pursuant to chapter 246-318 WAC Hospitals Codified Rules, Regulations <br /> and Standards adopted by the department as amended to date. <br /> Local building officials are responsible for review and approval of structural design; state <br /> energy code chapter 51-11 WAC; indoor air quality chapter 51-13 WAC; and barrier-free <br /> accessibility chapter 51-20 WAC. Conformance with state electrical standards shall be <br /> determined by the State Department of Labor and Industries, or local authority with jurisdiction. <br /> I am issuing approval to begin this phase of construction. I am awaiting fire alarm rystem <br /> documents and fire sprinkler system documents. You may submit these documents separately <br /> for review and approval. <br /> I am returning a set of stamped "Approved" construction drawings and letters for your use at <br /> the job site. Final approval is subject to applicable codes and field inspections. These <br /> documents shall remain on file and available, in good condition, for inspection at the job site <br /> until the project is completed. I recommend these documents become a permanent part of the <br /> facility records. <br /> I have enclosed a notification card.
