December 2, 2020 <br /> Discussion ensued regarding the role of the Rethink Housing Action Plan Advisory <br /> Committee, addressing public concerns and hosting public forums during the <br /> COVID-19 pandemic, consumer preferences of single family vs. multi-family <br /> housing, and the variety of housing available, and affordable housing. <br /> Council Member Vogeli asked for a list of the Rethink Housing Action Plan Advisory <br /> Committee members. <br /> Becky stated she would provide that to Council tomorrow. <br /> Council Member Murphy asked about the City of Everett generational <br /> demographics. <br /> Becky stated this would be a part of the Housing Needs Assessment. <br /> Authorize the Mayor to approve the revised Scope of Work for Amendment No. 1 <br /> • <br /> to the Professional Services Agreement between Nelson/Nygaard Consulting and <br /> the City of Everett for Phase 2 of the Rethink Transit Project. <br /> Presented by Richard Tarry, Public Works <br /> Discussion ensued regarding the cost, the remaining scope of the project, and the <br /> future of transit. <br /> President Tuohy announced that the next meeting is a special retreat scheduled <br /> for Wednesday, December 9, at 4 p.m. There will be no public comment during <br /> the retreat; however, citizens may submit comment to council@everettwa.gov <br /> prior to the meeting.
