• <br /> December 2, 2020 <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Roberts stated he sent a letter to the Washington State <br /> Department of Commerce and the Utilities and Transportation Commission <br /> regarding the Clean Energy Transformation Act, which commits Washington to an <br /> electricity supply free of greenhouse gas emissions by 2045. <br /> Council Member Moore spoke about the budget and encouraged the Council to <br /> spend time soon discussing tough budget decisions for City-run programs:the golf <br /> courses, Senior Center, Library, and Transit. <br /> ADMINISTRATION UPDATE ON PRIOR BUSINESS <br /> Deputy Mayor Nick Harper stated that the City has been allocated an additional <br /> $641,000 in CARES grant funds from Snohomish County for small business <br /> • support. He stated this would be distributed in a third round of CARES grants, <br /> which will be disbursed before the end of December per grant rules. <br /> Council Member Vogel' asked if the recipients from the last round of CARES grant <br /> had received their funds. <br /> Deputy Mayor Harper stated he would find out and inform Council tomorrow. <br /> Council Member Stonecipher entered the meeting at 6:51 p.m. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> City Attorney David Hall had no comments. <br /> PUBLIC COMMENT <br /> The following people provided written comment prior to the meeting: <br /> • Craig Skotdal <br /> • <br /> 401 <br />
