EVERETT <br /> Q WASHINGTON <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 37-14 -I 0 <br /> An Ordinance establishing an Everett Station District Business Improvement Area (BIA); providing for the <br /> levy of a special assessment upon real property(and the owners thereof) within the area; the deposit of <br /> revenues in a special account and expenditures therefrom; and providing for an implementing <br /> agreement with an Everett Station District property owners association or similar organization. <br /> WHEREAS, <br /> A. The City Council, on November 27, 2019, adopted Resolution No. IL/Sli initiating a new <br /> Everett Station District BIA. <br /> B. Businesses and property owners within the Everett Station District BIA have indicated that they <br /> value the BIA' s use of special assessment revenues to fund programs and services,such as safety, <br /> cleaning, infrastructure and parking advocacy, and business and economic development. <br /> C. As provided in Resolution No. /14514 ,the City Council held a public hearing on December 11, <br /> 2019 in the Everett City Hall Council Chambers, concerning the formation of the Everett Station <br /> District BIA and the imposition of special assessments on property (and property owners) within <br /> such BIA, prior to the adoption of this Ordinance. <br /> NOW,THEREFORE,THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1. District Established. <br /> As authorized by Chapter 35.87A RCW,there is hereby established an Everett Station District Business <br /> Improvement Area (BIA) within the following described boundaries (when a street or alley is named,the <br /> District boundary is the center line of the right-of-way unless otherwise stated): <br /> Beginning at the intersection of the centerline of Hewitt Avenue and the centerline of <br /> Broadway Avenue; thence easterly along the centerline of Hewitt Avenue to intersect the <br /> centerline of Maple Street; thence southerly to the centerline of Pacific Avenue;thence <br /> westerly to intersect with the eastern side of Interstate 5; thence southerly along the eastern <br /> side of Interstate 5 to the southern edge of PARCEL ID 00439075000100; thence westerly to <br /> intersect with the centerline of Pine Street,thence southerly to intersect with the centerline of <br /> 33rd Street, thence easterly to intersect with the centerline of Cedar Street;thence southerly <br /> to 34th Street;thence southerly between parcels with (A) PARCEL IDs 29052900101000 and <br /> 29052900102800 (east, excluded), and (B) PARCEL IDs 00807200000100, 00807200000200, <br /> 00807200000300, 00807200000400, 00807200000500, and 00807200000600 (west, included), <br /> until it intersects with the BNSF railway; thence southerly to intersect with the centerline of <br />
