EXHIBIT A <br /> SCOPE OF WORK <br /> The Service Provider is to provide on-call environmental and environmental engineering services relating to <br /> pollution and contamination impacts,compliance with MTCA,waste and/or soil management,coordination with <br /> listed pollution cleanup sites(owned by city or others),and other related regulatory compliance issues with agencies <br /> (e.g.Dept.of Ecology,Snohomish County Health District). Work may be within project investigation phase <br /> through construction,and inclusive of reviewing properties for future city purchase or use. When the City needs on- <br /> call environmental engineering and consulting services,the parties shall agree on a specific scope and cost for such <br /> services and shall memorialize their agreement using the Work Order Task Authorization attached as Exhibit A-1. <br /> The Service Provider shall not proceed with any further work until the Work• Order,Exhibit A-I,has been signed <br /> by the Service Provider and authorized by the signature of the City representative and Project Manager. <br /> Specifically,the scope of services may include a combination of the following tasks: <br /> A.Review of documents,reports,maps and photographs pertinent to the area of concern. <br /> B.Detailed reconnaissance of the area,including field work as necessary. <br /> C.Preparation of a work plan with cost estimate for any additional on-site exploration,laboratory testing and <br /> analysis that may be required to properly evaluate the site and develop recommendations for mitigation as <br /> appropriate,and implementation of such work plan. <br /> D.Meeting with City of Everett staff to discuss our findings and conclusions and to develop plans for further action <br /> as appropriate.Provision of regulatory analysis and recommendations. <br /> E.Prepare summary reports for areas,as appropriate.The structure of each report may vary from a field report to a <br /> formal report with detailed drawings,depending on the nature of the site and the requirements of the City. <br /> When both parties sign a Work Order,it becomes a part of this Agreement and is subject to the terms and conditions <br /> of this Agreement. <br /> Page 12 <br /> (Form Approved by City Attorney's Office January 7,2010,updated November 4,2020) <br />
