The original contract's <br />total expected expenses were $102,201 from Account Number 401-5-200-118-673-410, <br />with $60,768 remaining. <br />Project summary statement: <br />The City requires specialized technical services to evaluate the cathodic protection and <br />coating systems on our water transmission lines, which consist primarily of steel <br />pipelines. Norwest Corrosion Engineering is a consultant selected from the MRSC roster <br />and is currently contracted to provide these services. <br />Amendment No. 1 extends the term of the existing Professional Services Agreement <br />between the City and Northwest Corrosion to December 31, 2022. <br />Recommendation (exact action requested of Council): <br />Authorize the Mayor to sign Amendment No. 1 to the Professional Service Agreement <br />with Northwest Corrosion Engineering for Cathodic Protection and Coating Evaluation <br />Services <br />
