All fire alarm control panels (FACP) and sprinkler valves shall be in heated rooms or closets with standard man door access. Locations shall be approved by the Fire Code Official (NFPA 13 8.16.4.1.3). 45. The location of Fire Department connections (FDC) and post indicator valves (PIV) shall be determined by the Fire Code Official.
