Lig <br /> EVERETT <br /> WASHINGTON <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 7606 <br /> A RESOLUTION of the City of Everett establishing a temporary fare waiver for Everett Para <br /> Transit service serving vaccination sites in Everett Transit's service area. <br /> WHEREAS, <br /> A. The global pandemic has had a devastating effect on Everett's residents, particularly the elderly <br /> and persons with disabilities. <br /> B. Access to vaccination sites for our vulnerable population is a priority. <br /> C. The Snohomish County Health District is considering a walk-in vaccination site at Angel of the <br /> Winds and potentially other sites in Everett. <br /> D. Community Transit, in cooperation with Everett Transit, will operate a free shuttle between <br /> Everett Station and Angel of the Winds, if the site is confirmed. <br /> E. Community Transit will also provide free para transit service to Angel of the Winds. <br /> F. The cost of para transit service should not be a barrier to access the vaccine for Everett's <br /> residents. <br /> NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT: <br /> 1. Everett Transit is authorized to provide fare-free para transit service to customers who are <br /> accessing the walk-in vaccination center at Angel of the Winds and any other walk-in vaccination <br /> site that may be established within Everett Transit's service area. <br /> 2.
