January 27, 2021 <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Mayor Franklin followed up on the fire payroll fraud issue from last week and said <br /> the City Attorney provided an email to Council answering questions posed during <br /> last week's meeting. She stated that she and Council Member Murphy discussed <br /> adopting a plan to notify Council anytime there is a bring any loss of public funds <br /> issue that is reported to the State Auditor's Office. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Vogeli provided a report from the Casino Stakeholders meeting <br /> Tuesday evening and a liaison report from the Historical Commission. <br /> Council Member Roberts provided a report from the Snohomish County <br /> Committee for Improved Transportation (SCCIT) meeting held Tuesday. <br /> Council Member Roberts moved to continue working on the Climate Action <br /> Plan, where the next steps would be to address non-motorized transportation <br /> and electrical charging. Council Member Vogeli seconded the motion. <br /> Council Member Murphy provided a liaison report from the Northwest <br /> Neighborhood meeting last Thursday. He also provided a report for the Public <br /> Facilities District Finance Committee meeting. Council Member Murphy stated <br /> that as a follow up to his discussion with Mayor Franklin regarding the fire <br /> employee payroll fraud he would like to work with the City Attorney to formalize <br /> and codify an ordinance to align with the State Auditor's suggestion to notify City <br /> Council of any employee fraud issues. <br /> Council Member Murphy moved to work with the City Attorney's office to draft <br /> such an ordinance. Council Member Vogeli seconded the motion. <br /> Council Member Tuohy provided a liaison report from the Council of <br /> Neighborhoods meeting held Monday and the Pinehurst Neighborhood meeting <br /> held Tuesday night. Council Member Tuohy stated she will be recusing herself on <br /> 2 <br />
