1. Buildings that are equipped throughout with an approved automatic fire sprinkler <br /> system. <br /> 2. Common wall residential buildings that consist of four or fewer units,that do not <br /> exceed two stories in height, that are less than 5,000 square feet in area, and that have <br /> a one-hour fire-resistive occupancy separation between units. <br /> Q. Subsection 912.2 of the IFC, entitled "Location," is hereby deleted and the following inserted in its <br /> place: <br /> 912.2 Location. With respect to hydrants, driveways, buildings and landscaping, fire department <br /> connections shall be so located that fire apparatus and hose connected to supply the system will not <br /> obstruct access to the buildings for other fire apparatus. Unless otherwise approved by the fire code <br /> official, fire department connections shall be located more than 50 feet from a building to avoid any <br /> potential hazards to fire department personnel and equipment in the event of a fire.The location of fire <br /> department connections shall be approved by the fire code official. <br /> 16.03.100 Amendments to IFC Chapter 10, Means of Egress. <br /> Adopted as amended by Washington State with the following local amendments: <br /> A.
