( 1 NARRATIVE STATEMENT FOR GREG CAMPBELL There is a need in the community of Everett for a free standing birth center . Currently one does not exist. This allows a birthing alternative for women in the area. The current streets, utilities and public services are more than adequate for the clinic to operate successfully. Because of the size of the clinic no substantial traffic increase should occur. The patient load can be no larger than 2 at one time. The parking requirements will be met by the adequacy of the lot size. To my knowledge no off street parking will be necessary. The clinic site will be compatable with the existing and proposed building structure and facilities. Only one sign will be required, a lit sign in front of the building. � � Landscaping will be done as required by the city. A preliminary study has been done and no problems are seen. Other than normal parking lot lighting there will be no obtrusive lighting sources or other nuisances coming from the clinic. The land use will adhere to those set down by the Everett general plan as well as all local and federal laws and regulations. The clinic site is Iocated adjacent to a bus stop for public transportation. In summary, no problems are foreseen with the utilization of the site as a womens clinic. Currently a site operated by us is in operation in Ariington with very similar circumstances and no problems have occurred.
