It appears tnat you intuition is correct- from wha; I see on the drawing this system <br /> will not tunction in eca�c�nizer mode because it has only one motorized damper which is �or.ated rr; the outside air plenum. <br /> �Vhen an airside economize�is used the system needs to provide up to 100% outside air-to do this with the system shown here, <br /> each of the return air ducts must be modulatcd closed with motorized dampers as the oulside air damper modulates open. As the <br /> outside temperature rises, more and more o�tside air is brought into the space to maintain the frst stage cooling set point Wher <br /> this happens, the air pressure in the space ri,es and it must be relieved to the outside through an opening to minimize pres;ure <br /> buildup. While the system has a relief air p!enum there is �o way to shut it off when the system is shutdown and it becomes <br /> a direct opening to the outside. - i.e. a hole in the wall. <br /> I would like to see the sequence of operation(SOP)for the fan coils and economizer just to make sure I'm not missing something <br /> shown eisewhere. this may be in the specification or on the drawings somewhere. <br /> Also Note 1 on the fan coil schedule should the following added: capabie of providing 100% outside air. <br /> I hope this helps wilh your review. <br /> \1'illi;nn Kingrcy.
