It is unclear where the property lines and proposed fire separation distances <br /> are based on the proximity of the proposed structure to existing structures. <br /> Please indicate the property lines and proposed fire separation distances as it is <br /> unclear whether the proposed structure or existing structures (North and <br /> South)will need fire resistive construction. IBC 602. <br /> 2. On Sheet A3.1, item 15, a new self-supporting canopy may require fire- <br /> resistive construction given the potential proximity to property lines per IBC <br /> 602. Please revise canopy location or provide details indicating fire-resistive <br /> canopy construction. <br /> STRUCTURAL <br /> 1. From the Architectural Sheet A2.1,the mezzanine level is indicated as a <br /> storage use. Per ASCE 7-10 Sec 12.7.2, a minimum of 25%of the floor live load <br /> is to be included in the effective seismic weight take off for the structure. <br /> Please revised seismic base shear numbers as required. <br /> PERMIT SERVICES 2. The proposed concrete retaining wall is indicated to be approximately 9'-0" <br /> in retained soil height. Per Architectural Sheet A1.1,the area at the top of the <br /> 9 3200 Cedar Street retaining wall is designated as a loading area, but according to Detail 4/S3.1, it <br /> Everett,WA 98201 appears that no traffic surcharge, or other such loading fora permanent <br /> retaining wall appear to be included in its design.
