8. RUN-OFF TREATMENT (MR #6)
As noted before this project proposes to install a total of 4,432 sf of effective new/replaced
PGIS, combined on-site and within the City RAN. Therefore, this project does not exceed
the 5,000 sf threshold and is exempt from this requirement.
9. FLOW CONTROL (MR #7)
The site design for the on-site improvements is for approximately 2,310 sf of new
impervious surfaces. The site design for the off-site improvements includes approximately
3,709 sf of replaced gravel surfaces with pavement(asphalt and concrete).
Per the DOE and City stormwater manuals, since the on-site runoff will be fully infiltrated
up to the 100-year storm event those surfaces can be considered non-effective impervious
surfaces. As a result, the total effective impervious surfaces for this project is 3,709 sf.
This is below the 5,000 sf threshold and as a result this project is exempt from flow
control.
10. WETLAND PROTECTION (MR #8)
By designing the on-site improvements to infiltrate the on-site runoff and keep the total
effective impervious area to less than 5,000 sf this will provide the necessary protection to
any downstream NGPA.
•
•
Zillah Lot 2 SFR 18-0605
Aug.2019 Page 12
