The source <br />of funds is CIP-3. Emma Yule Park is an identified project is in the CIP-3 funding model. <br />The Funding Ordinance amount of $2,050,000 includes all costs related to the <br />construction of the Emma Yule Park including, but not limited to, sales tax, testing and <br />inspection, permitting and construction contingencies. <br />Project summary statement: <br />Drawings and specifications have been prepared by staff to construct a new <br />neighborhood park consisting of open space, walking paths, benches, game tables, a <br />central meeting area, and a playground. <br />The City of Everett and the YMCA of Snohomish County have entered into an agreement <br />for the conveyance to the City of approximately 1 acre of land located at 4817 Rucker <br />Avenue and for the purpose of constructing and maintaining a neighborhood park. <br />The bid award for the construction of the Emma Yule Park is scheduled for the 3rd <br />reading of the Funding Ordinance. The anticipated start of construction is April 2021. <br />The anticipated completion of construction is late fall of 2021. <br />Recommendation (exact action requested of Council): <br />Adopt an Ordinance creating a special improvement project entitled "Emma Yule Park", <br />Fund 354, Program 064, to accumulate all costs for the improvement project. <br />
