accessibility modifications and other health and safety related home repairs. The Minor Home Repair program allows a homeowner up to $5,000 for minor home repairs in a five-year contract period. B) Under rare and exceptional instances, with City of Everett pre-approval, the Minor Home Repair Program Director may approve additional an allocation of up to $3,000 for slightly larger repairs for a very limited number of homeowners, not to exceed a total of$8,000 total project funds per property over a 5-year period. This amount may be increased with review and approval by the City of Everett after review of the safety needs of the home. B. National Objectives The Subrecipient certifies that the activities carried out with funds provided under this Agreement will meet the following CDBG National Objective, as identified by the City of Everett for priority in the 2020 Program Year, "Benefit low/moderate income persons" - as defined in 24 CFR Part 570.208. Appropriate subcategory and matrix code under the CDBG National Objectives: Housing; 14A, Rehabilitation: Single-Unit Residential 24 CFR 570.202(a)(1) or 42 USC 5305(a)(4) Description of how the project will meet this subcategory: Home Repair assists low-income (at or below 60% AMI) elderly homeowners 62 years of age or older, and adults homeowners 18- 61 years of age living with a permanent disabilities, with health and safety repairs to their homes. C. Performance Monitoring The City will monitor the performance of the Subrecipient against goals and performance standards required herein through quarterly reports and site visits. Substandard performance as determined by the City will constitute non-compliance with this Agreement. If action to correct such substandard performance is not taken by the Subrecipient within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the City and after being notified by the City, contract suspension or termination procedures will be initiated.
