The Minor Home Repair <br /> program allows a homeowner up to $5,000 for minor home repairs in a five-year contract period. <br /> B) Under rare and exceptional instances, with City of Everett pre-approval, the Minor Home <br /> Repair Program Director may approve additional an allocation of up to $3,000 for slightly larger <br /> repairs for a very limited number of homeowners, not to exceed a total of$8,000 total project funds <br /> per property over a 5-year period. This amount may be increased with review and approval by the <br /> City of Everett after review of the safety needs of the home. <br /> B. National Objectives <br /> The Subrecipient certifies that the activities carried out with funds provided under this Agreement will <br /> meet the following CDBG National Objective, as identified by the City of Everett for priority in the <br /> 2020 Program Year, "Benefit low/moderate income persons" - as defined in 24 CFR Part 570.208. <br /> Appropriate subcategory and matrix code under the CDBG National Objectives: <br /> Housing; 14A, Rehabilitation: Single-Unit Residential 24 CFR 570.202(a)(1) or 42 USC <br /> 5305(a)(4) <br /> Description of how the project will meet this subcategory: Home Repair assists low-income (at or <br /> below 60% AMI) elderly homeowners 62 years of age or older, and adults homeowners 18- <br /> 61 years of age living with a permanent disabilities, with health and safety repairs to their <br /> homes. <br /> C. Performance Monitoring <br /> The City will monitor the performance of the Subrecipient against goals and performance standards <br /> required herein through quarterly reports and site visits. Substandard performance as determined by <br /> the City will constitute non-compliance with this Agreement. If action to correct such substandard <br /> performance is not taken by the Subrecipient within a reasonable period of time, as determined by <br /> the City and after being notified by the City, contract suspension or termination procedures will be <br /> initiated. <br />
