EVERETT <br /> WASHINGTON <br /> City of Everett Human Needs Grant <br /> January 1,2021 through December 31, 2021 <br /> Exhibit A <br /> Program Summary <br /> Organization&Program: Hand in Hand: Mental Health Support <br /> Hand in Hand's Mental Health Support project is a hybrid of virtual and in-person(following guidelines and protocols) <br /> support groups that provide education and mental health support to children and their families at risk of child welfare <br /> involvement,on the brink of homelessness and English language learners.A recent survey conducted by Hand in Hand of <br /> clients served in 2020(90%of respondents identified as Hispanic/Latinx)indicated the#1 need in the community is for <br /> mental health support groups available in their native language(Spanish). <br /> The Mental Health Support project will meet the needs of the community through:Spanish training materials and Spanish <br /> speaking trainers,childcare and supplies for participants children,appropriate staffing, meeting space and referral <br /> resources. <br /> 7 <br />
