The study <br /> makes the fullowing generalized findings: <br /> • The search area id�nG�icd by VoiceSveam, though somewhat arbitrary, appears reasonable <br /> given the location of otherexisdng VoiceStit�m sites in north Everett and the downtown <br /> vicinity. <br /> • The altemative sites identified by VoiceStream would not have an advantage in terms of <br /> providing visual mitigation over the proposed site. Other potential sites have been identified, <br /> but appear co be outside of the search area, <br /> • Rcgarding calculation of maximum permissible exposure levels, the consultant reviewed the <br /> Applicant's FCC compliance statement and determined that the actual exposure levcls wiUi <br /> the proje<;t would�e below lm�y�sq.cm, �vhich is the applicable FCC standard. <br /> • The request by VoiceStream is reasonable given the limitations of the service area. <br /> DECISION: The proposa] is approved as submitted subject to compliance with all city, stnte and <br /> federal regulations. The following conditions sha11 apply; <br /> 1� The project shall be constructed in a manner consistent with the plans received on August <br /> 28, 2002 on file with the Planning/Community Development Department. <br /> Z• The elecnical conduit on the new power pole and the antennas shall be painted to match <br /> the color of the po]e, <br /> 3• An electrical permh wip be reyuired for the equipment installation in the building at 2301 <br /> Colby Ave. <br /> 4. The eouipment installation within tiie garage at 2301 Colby shall be designed and <br /> constmcted so as to not displace the p;�•king within the gazage. This information shall be <br /> verified at thc time of submittal for building permit. Exact dimensions of the interior <br /> space must be providcd. <br /> � <br />
