The study makes the fullowing generalized findings: • The search area id�nG�icd by VoiceSveam, though somewhat arbitrary, appears reasonable given the location of otherexisdng VoiceStit�m sites in north Everett and the downtown vicinity. • The altemative sites identified by VoiceStream would not have an advantage in terms of providing visual mitigation over the proposed site. Other potential sites have been identified, but appear co be outside of the search area, • Rcgarding calculation of maximum permissible exposure levels, the consultant reviewed the Applicant's FCC compliance statement and determined that the actual exposure levcls wiUi the proje<;t would�e below lm�y�sq.cm, �vhich is the applicable FCC standard. • The request by VoiceStream is reasonable given the limitations of the service area. DECISION: The proposa] is approved as submitted subject to compliance with all city, stnte and federal regulations. The following conditions sha11 apply; 1� The project shall be constructed in a manner consistent with the plans received on August 28, 2002 on file with the Planning/Community Development Department. Z• The elecnical conduit on the new power pole and the antennas shall be painted to match the color of the po]e, 3• An electrical permh wip be reyuired for the equipment installation in the building at 2301 Colby Ave. 4. The eouipment installation within tiie garage at 2301 Colby shall be designed and constmcted so as to not displace the p;�•king within the gazage. This information shall be verified at thc time of submittal for building permit. Exact dimensions of the interior space must be providcd. �
