N_IN EVERETT <br /> WASHINGTON <br /> City of Everett Human Needs Grant <br /> January 1, 2021 through December 31, 2021 <br /> Exhibit A <br /> Program Summary <br /> Organization& Program: Cocoon House:COVID-19 Meal Program Coordinator and Food Support <br /> This Meal Program and Food Support COVID-19 project provides continued emergency coordination, planning and <br /> management support to meal programs and the distribution of food to ensure access to food and meals for people in the <br /> City of Everett experiencing food insecurity. <br /> Specific services provided and funded through human needs include: <br /> 1.Coordinate and communicate with public meal programs to determine needs. <br /> 2.Coordinate food and supplies necessary to meal programs operating during COVID-19. <br /> 3. Provide safety equipment(masks, hand sanitizer,gloves,social distancing plans,traffic cones,safety vests,etc.)and <br /> coordination to ensure safety of program staff,volunteers, clients served, and the community. <br /> 4. Coordinate&distribute current public meal site information to the community. <br /> 5. Monitor and record meal/food distribution data to understand needs and future planning. <br /> 6.Secure funds for food and supplies&seek support and donations. <br /> 7.Support meal program and food warehouse for meal programs use. <br /> 8. Monitor and maintain reporting,data collection,and grant funds reporting and management. <br /> 9. Maintain connection and communication with City relating to meal programs and food <br /> 10.Communicate and coordinate needs and efforts with related food and social service agencies and entities in Everett. <br /> 7 <br />
