DocuSign Envelope ID:0561707E-6C5B-4F3C-A3DB-4C36AD28432E <br /> Everett Transit / Community Transit <br /> Paratransit Service <br /> Letter of Understanding <br /> This Letter of Understanding is incorporated by reference into the Inter-local <br /> Agreement Between Snohomish County Public Transportation Benefit Area <br /> Corporation (Community Transit-) and the City of Everett (Everett Transit) Regarding <br /> the Cooperative Provision of Services that was executed on December 5, 2007 and <br /> documents the operational plan for provision of federally mandated ADA paratransit <br /> services to, from and within the vicinity of the City of Everett. <br /> IT IS HEREBY UNDERSTOOD: <br /> 1. Definitions. The following definitions apply to this Letter of Understanding: <br /> a. ZONE 1- The area within the blue hatched boundary on the attached <br /> boundary map is Community Transit's paratransit service area that meets the <br /> requirements of the Americans with Disability Act (ADA). This includes those <br /> blue hatch areas that also fall within Zone 2 and Zone 3. The area within the <br /> yellow hatched area includes the Green Line corridor north of Airport/ Hwy 99 <br /> and is now incorporated into Zone 1. <br /> b. ZONE 2- The area within the red boundary on the attached boundary map is <br /> Everett Transit's paratransit service area that meets the requirements of the <br /> ADA. This includes those red boundary areas that also fall within Zone 1. <br /> c. ZONE 3- The green area on the attached boundary map is the agreed upon <br /> extended Everett Transit paratransit service area. This includes those green <br /> areas that also fall within Zone 1. <br /> 2. Everett Transit (Paratransit) Responsibilities <br /> a. Everett Transit shall provide all federally mandated ADA paratransit trips that <br /> begin and end anywhere within Zone 2. <br /> b. Everett Transit shall provide all federally mandated ADA paratransit trips that <br /> begin anywhere within Zone 2 and end within Zone 3. <br /> c. Everett Transit shall provide all federally mandated ADA paratransit trips that <br /> begin anywhere within Zone 3 and end anywhere within Zone 2 <br /> 3.
