. <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 3899 <br /> AN ORDINANCE providing for the allocation of additional <br /> funds to cover unanticipated expenditures for the year 1962, <br /> consisting of the expenditure of $ 2„202 s0 for purpose of securing <br /> planning assistance of the Washington State Department of Commerce <br /> & Economic Development in connection with urban planning, and <br /> WHEREAS, it could not have reasonably been foreseen at <br /> the time of the making of the budget that such expenditure would <br /> be necessary. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That an emergency is hereby declared to exist <br /> and the sum of $4,000.00 is hereby allocated out of the current <br /> expense fund for the purpose of securing the assistance of the <br /> Washington State Department of Commerce & Economic Development in <br /> preparing a plan for urban re-development, which allocation shall <br /> be in addition to those provided for in the budget for the year <br /> 1962 .
