The 2020 Pavement Maintenance Overlay Project includes a base bid of 24,800 tons of hot -mix asphalt, utility adjustment and all other appurtenances necessary to complete the work. The award amount was $3,560,249.50. The general contractor, Granite Construction, completed the 2020 Pavement Maintenance Overlay in accordance with the Project's plans and specifications, and to the satisfaction of the Public Works Department. Recommendation (exact action requested of Council): Accept the 2020 Pavement Maintenance Overlay Project as complete with Granite Construction Company and authorize the Mayor to sign the Certificate of Completion allowing release of retention.
