The 2020 Pavement Maintenance Overlay <br />Project includes a base bid of 24,800 tons of hot -mix asphalt, utility adjustment and all <br />other appurtenances necessary to complete the work. The award amount was <br />$3,560,249.50. <br />The general contractor, Granite Construction, completed the 2020 Pavement <br />Maintenance Overlay in accordance with the Project's plans and specifications, and to <br />the satisfaction of the Public Works Department. <br />Recommendation (exact action requested of Council): <br />Accept the 2020 Pavement Maintenance Overlay Project as complete with Granite <br />Construction Company and authorize the Mayor to sign the Certificate of Completion <br />allowing release of retention. <br />
