To facilitate timely spending of federal funds in accordance with the City's agreement <br />with HUD, the City Council approves the Citizens Advisory Committee recommended <br />contingency project list for additional fund distribution in priority order, if funds become <br />available during the 2021 program year. Projects would receive an amount based on the <br />original amount requested or the cap of $150,000, whichever is lesser: <br />Community Housing Improvement Program <br />7. The City Council approves the Citizens Advisory Committee recommendation of <br />adjusting all projects awards evenly listed in this resolution based on the difference <br />between the estimate and final award for CDBG and HOME fund. If the award difference <br />is greater than $150,000, the Committee will reconvene to provide an updated funding <br />recommendation. <br />8. Community Development Block Grant COVID-19 (CDBG-CV) funds may be made <br />available to a subrecipient sooner than the start of the program year July 1, 2021 if <br />approved by HUD. <br />9. The Mayor and her designee(s) are authorized to make formal application to the U.S. <br />Department of Housing and Urban Development for funding assistance in accordance <br />with this Resolution and the requirements of such application. <br />10. The required application forms and information are to be sent to the U.S. Department of <br />Housing and Urban Development to complete all application requirements and the <br />Mayor and her designee(s) are authorized to sign and provide the needed documents <br />and to take all other necessary actions. <br />RESOLUTION Page 4 of 6 <br />
