To facilitate timely spending of federal funds in accordance with the City's agreement with HUD, the City Council approves the Citizens Advisory Committee recommended contingency project list for additional fund distribution in priority order, if funds become available during the 2021 program year. Projects would receive an amount based on the original amount requested or the cap of $150,000, whichever is lesser: Community Housing Improvement Program 7. The City Council approves the Citizens Advisory Committee recommendation of adjusting all projects awards evenly listed in this resolution based on the difference between the estimate and final award for CDBG and HOME fund. If the award difference is greater than $150,000, the Committee will reconvene to provide an updated funding recommendation. 8. Community Development Block Grant COVID-19 (CDBG-CV) funds may be made available to a subrecipient sooner than the start of the program year July 1, 2021 if approved by HUD. 9. The Mayor and her designee(s) are authorized to make formal application to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for funding assistance in accordance with this Resolution and the requirements of such application. 10. The required application forms and information are to be sent to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development to complete all application requirements and the Mayor and her designee(s) are authorized to sign and provide the needed documents and to take all other necessary actions.
