It is item #6. <br />Thank you, <br />Deb Williams <br />Executive Assistant to Council <br />From: bzarlingo@frontier.com <bzarlingo@frontier.com> <br />Sent: Tuesday, April 20, 2021 12:53 AM <br />To: Deb Williams <DWilliams@everettwa.gov> <br />Subject: Public comment and photos for Council decision on hydroplane racing on Silver Lake <br />Hello Deb, <br />I've been participating in the discussions and public hearing (before the <br />Parks Board on 4/6/21) regarding the request by the Seattle Outboard <br />Association for a special use permit for one or two days of hydroplane <br />racing on Silver lake, including their exclusive use of some areas of <br />Thornton Sullivan Silver Lake Park and the lake itself. <br />I thought this issue (and Parks Board recommendation) was to come <br />before the Council at their April 21st meeting, but do not see it on the <br />agenda. I also looked at the April 14th agenda and did not see any <br />mention of the topic. <br />For the consideration of the Council, whenever they meet on this issue, I'd <br />like to submit the comments below and photos attached to this message. <br />I should note that there were several other public comments at the Parks <br />Board meeting, at least two of them in writing, that I passed along from <br />our neighborhood to Cory Rettenmier. I had solicited input in our <br />newsletter and those were what I received. I'm not sure if they have been <br />part of the briefing for Councilmembers. <br />Please let me know when the Council will be acting on this issue. I would <br />like to hear any discussion, and perhaps make a (very brief) comment. <br />Thanks and best regards, <br />
