• <br /> April 7, 2021 <br /> Council Member Roberts stated he wished to move forward with action relating <br /> to the provision of electrical vehicle charging infrastructure, which is part of the <br /> Climate Action Plan that was adopted by the City. He noted there is considerable <br /> work being done at both at the Puget Sound Clean Air Agency and the Puget Sound <br /> Regional Council, as well as interest by the Legislature and Federal government. <br /> Council Member Roberts stated he is in communication with Deputy Mayor Nick <br /> Harper who is the Climate Action Plan designee. <br /> Moved by Council Member Roberts, seconded by Council Member Bader, to <br /> direct staff to develop an ordinance that addresses the provision of electrical <br /> vehicle charging infrastructure. <br /> Council Member Murphy reported he participated in the second collaborative <br /> leadership meeting with Police Chief Templeman. <br /> Council Member Tuohy provided a liaison report from her meetings with Cultural <br /> Arts and Library staff to discuss the quality of life priority of economic and cultural <br /> vitality. She also noted the Mayor announced that this is National Library Week. • <br /> President Stonecipher reported that she and Council Member Bader attended the <br /> Regional Fire Authority planning meeting, which is open to the public. She stated <br /> that this was the first meeting to look at the feasibility of creating a Regional Fire <br /> Authority with Fire District 4. <br /> ADMINISTRATION UPDATE <br /> Lori Cummings, Administration, had no administrative update. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> City Attorney David Hall had no report. <br /> • <br />
