• <br /> April 21, 2021 <br /> Council Member Moore spoke about the Chauvin trial verdict as the first step <br /> toward healing for our communities. <br /> Council Member Murphy provided an update from the Lodging Tax Advisory <br /> Committee (LTAC) and stated that the LTAC is accepting applications for a second <br /> round of grants. He recognized Earth Day and the need for ecosystem restoration. <br /> Council Member Murphy mentioned that the Port of Everett is hosting an annual <br /> Marina clean-up event on Saturday. He also reported on his attendance at the <br /> Delta Neighborhood meeting last night. <br /> Council Member Bader provided a Parks Department liaison update from a <br /> meeting held earlier this week. <br /> Council Member Tuohy provided a report from her attendance at the Library <br /> Board meeting. She also announced that Item No. 9 had been pulled from today's <br /> Consent Agenda. <br /> • <br /> ADMINISTRATION UPDATE ON PRIOR BUSINESS <br /> Lori Cummings, on behalf of the Mayor, congratulated the Finance team on <br /> receiving a Government Finance Officers Association Certificate of Achievement <br /> for Excellence in Financial Reporting, which is the highest form of recognition in <br /> the area of governmental accounting. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> City Attorney David Hall provided a status update on the work regarding an <br /> ordinance related to electric vehicles charging stations and an ordinance <br /> prohibiting possession of controlled substance without a prescription. <br /> Council Member Vogeli asked about the Police Department reaccreditation. <br /> • <br /> 2 <br />
