CITY OF EVERETT EVERETT Public Works WASHI NGTON ADDENDUM NO. 2 TO ' SEI TO SRI INTERTIE AND SRO8 REHABILITATION W.O. # UP-3714 ' FEBRUARY 19, 2021 NOTICE TO PLANHOLDERS: Addendum No. 2 contains the following revisions, additions, deletions and clarifications and is hereby made a part of the contract documents for the above named Project and shall be considered by all prospective bidders in submitting bids. Bidders must acknowledge receipt of Addendum No. 2 in the space provided on page SP-23 in Division C, CONTRACT, Proposal Signature Sheet. Failure to comply with this requirement may ' render the Bid non-responsive and may cause its rejection. This Addendum consists of 2 pages, including all revisions, and attachments. ' The Bid date, time and location for receipt of Bids are unchanged by this Addendum. THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS ARE MODIFIED AS FOLLOWS: SPECIFICATIONS Section 9-05.13 Ductile Iron Sewer Pipe, Page SP-170, Add the following sentence at the end of this section: "Bolt hardware associated with the above listed restrained joint products should ' be 'standard steel' with wax tape coating per 9-30.2(12) at a minimum. Stainless steel bolt hardware is also acceptable and is required where specified." PLANS ' Drawing C2, Detail 1 Joint Bonding Detail, Add the following note 3: "Install a third jumper wire for the Bonding of Sleeve Couplers." Drawing C4, Detail 1 and Note 3, Add the following sentence to note 3: ' "Field applied sand collar shall consist of PVC glue or epoxy and sand or grit applied to the pipe surface that upon curing produces a bond and texture similar to commercially made sand collars. Assure that sand collar does not interfer ' with gasket travel zone if structure settles. PVC pipe may be any pipe class or DR for AWWA C900 or 905.
