Please review and respond to the comments below. <br />1 <br />ARCHITECTURAL <br />} 1. On Sheet A3.1, the proposed grab bars for the water closet are required on <br />both sides per WA State amended IRC R325.8.3. From the drawings, the <br />current grab bar configuration appears to be only on one side of the water <br />closet. Please revise the configuration and drawings as required to maintain <br />this requirement. <br />In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary <br />`s <br />to provide the Building Division with two new sets of revised construction <br />documents reflecting the corrections requested. Please include a response <br />letter indicating how the corrections were resolved. <br />All codes cited refer to the2015 International Residential Code (IRC), 2015 <br />International Building Code (IBC), 2015 International Existing Building Code <br />(IEBC), the 2015 International Fire Code (IFC), the 2015 International <br />Mechanical Code (IMC), and/or the 2015 Washington State Energy Code <br />(WSEC), as amended by the State of Washington and adopted by the City of <br />Everett. The current IBC referenced standard for accessible design is the 2009 <br />"Accessible and Usable Buildings and Facilities" (ICC/ANSI A117.1). Federal ADA <br />regulations and standards may be more restrictive. <br />PERMIT SERVICES <br />f These comments address building issues only. Additional revisions or additions <br />may be required by other departments (such as Utilities, Traffic, Planning or <br />3200 Cedar Street <br />4 Fire).
