Please review and respond to the comments below. <br />I <br />I <br />1. On Sheet 1 of 1, based on the existing joist locations in Section A -A and the <br />Second Floor Plan, it would appear that the existing joists that are proposed to <br />I <br />be cut may need to be re -supported at the new location. However, there does <br />not appear to be details provided for showing the re -support at the new <br />location of the cut joists (with a post, wall, beam, etc.). The proposed changes <br />to the framing may require engineered design. Please indicate in the drawings <br />a <br />where the additional re -support is being provided. IRC R106.1.1, R301.1.3. <br />RESUBMITTAL REQUIREMENTS <br />In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary <br />to provide the Building Division with two new sets of revised construction <br />documents reflecting the corrections requested. Please include a response <br />letter indicating how the corrections were resolved. <br />All codes cited refer to the 2015 International Residential Code (IRC), 2015 <br />International Building Code (IBC), 2015 International Existing Building Code <br />(IEBC), the 2015 International Fire Code (IFC), the 2015 International <br />f <br />Mechanical Code (IMC), and/or the 2015 Washington State Energy Code <br />(WSEC), as amended by the State of Washington and adopted by the City of <br />PERMIT SERVICES <br />Everett. The current IBC referenced standard for accessible design is the 2009 <br />"Accessible and Usable Buildings and Facilities" (ICC/ANSI A117.1).
