STANDARD BUILDING CODE REQUIREMENTS <br />FOR STRUCTURAL CONCRETE. <br />• AMERICAN INSTITUTE OF STEEL CONSTRUCTION, AISC 14TH EDITION, MANUAL OF STEEL <br />CONSTRUCTION. <br />• AMERICAN WELDING SOCIETY, AWS DIA 2015 EDITION, STRUCTURAL WELDING CODE. <br />GENERAL NOTES: <br />(1) THESE STRUCTURAL NOTES SUPPLEMENT THE WRITTEN SPECIFICATIONS AND PROJECT <br />DRAWINGS. <br />(2) NOTES AND DETAILS ARE TYPICAL AND APPLY TO ALL SIMILAR CONDITIONS UNLESS <br />BPECIFICALLY NOTED OTHERWISE ON THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS. <br />(3) ANY DISCREPANCY FOUND AMONG THE NOTES, WRITTEN SPECIFICATIONS AND PROJECT <br />DRAWINGS SHALL BE REPORTED TO THE CONSTRUCTION MANAGERIENGINEER FOR CORRECTION <br />AND/OR CLARIFICATION. IF CONSTRUCTION MANAGER/ENGINEER IS NOT AVAILABLE TO PROVIDE <br />COMMENT, THE CONTRACTOR IS TO PROCEED WITH THE MOST STRINGENT REQUIREMENT AT NO <br />ADDITIONAL COST TO THE OWNER. <br />(4) THE CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE TO VERIFY ALL EXISTING CONSTRUCTION MATERIAL <br />TYPES, DIMENSIONS, ELEVATIONS AND CONDITIONS. HE SHALL VERIFY AND COORDINATE THE <br />DIMENSIONS AMONG ALL DRAWINGS AND IN THE FIELD PRIOR TO PROCEEDING WITH ANY WORK <br />OR FABRICATION, ANY DISCREPANCY SHALL BE IMMEDIATELY REPORTED TO THE ENGINEER. <br />(5)THE CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL BRACING, TEMPORARY SHORING, WATER AND <br />OTHER ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROLS REQUIRED DURING CONSTRUCTION TO INSURE THE <br />STABILITY AND SAFETY OF ALL CONSTRUCTION UNTIL COMPLETE AND SELF-SUPPORTING. <br />(6) THE CONTRACTOR SHALL LOCATE, ESTABLISH AND VERIFY ALL OPENINGS AND INSERTS OF <br />ARCHITECTURAL, MECHANICAL, ELECTRICAL, PLUMBING AND OTHER WORK WITH APPROPRIATE <br />PARTIES. <br />(7) ALL PERMITS AND INSPECTIONS FOR THIS BUILDING WITH LOCAL BUILDING OFFICIALS SHALL <br />BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CONTRACTOR. <br />(8) STRUCTURAL OBSERVATIONS MADE BY THE ENGINEER SHALL NOT BE CONSTRUED AS <br />SPECIAL INSPECTIONS. <br />DESIGN CRITERIA: <br />(1) INTERNATIONAL BUILDING CODE 2015 GOVERNS DESIGN. <br />(2) RISK CATEGORY IV. <br />(3) WIND 115 MPH (3 SEC GUST) PER IBC 2015, EXPOSURE "B". <br />(4) SEISMIC PER IBC 2015, SITE CLASS "D", SDS=0.933. <br />LANDLORD SIGNATURE <br />STRUCTURALSTEEL <br />1. WELDING SHALL CONFORM TO THE AMERICAN WELDING SOCIETY STANDARD D1.1 LATEST EDITION. <br />ELECTRODES FOR SHOP AND FIELD WELDS SHALL CONFORM TO AWS A5.1 OR AWS A5.5, CLASS E70XX. <br />SUBMIT SPECIFICATIONS OF PROPOSED SUBSTITUTE FILLER MATERIAL FOR APPROVAL <br />4. ALL WELDING SHALL BE UNDER CONTINUOUS SPECIAL INSPECTION BY A REGISTERED <br />SPECIAL INSPECTOR PER THE 2015 IBC 1704.2. WELDING INSPECTION MAY BE PERIODIC WHERE <br />ALLOWED BY THE 2015 IBC SECTION 1704. <br />5.
