Please confirm that the existing electrical rooms are not required to have two means of egress per Section 1006.2.2.6 and <br />NEC Article 110.26 (C)(3). <br />Response: Confirmed. Only one means of egress is required per Section 10006.2.2.6. <br />6. The locations, use -instructions and signage requirements for the two-way communication system at the elevator landings <br />should be shown on the plans. The flushing mechanisms are shown on the near side of the toilet stalls on the typical mounting location drawings of Sheet <br />A7.01. ANSI Section 604.6 <br />Response: Accessibility Note #2 on sheet A7.01 indicates compliance with ANSI 604.6. The flushing mechanisms have been <br />relocated to the near side of the toilet stalls in the elevation drawings on A7.01. <br />2. The drains and hot water supply on the lav's should be shown protected or insulated to prevent contact. ANSI Section <br />606.6 <br />Response: Note on detail 2/A8.35 indicates to provide pipe insulation per ADA. Additional standard mounting height details <br />have been added to sheet A7.01 to indicated insulated pipes. <br />3. The shower seat should be shown to be within 3" of the compartment entry (vs. the shower entry) in detail 12/A6.01. <br />ANSI Section 610.3 <br />Response: Detail 12/A6.01 has been deleted.
