The structural height(defined in Sec 11.2)shall not exceed 35 feet.
b. The roof and floor dead load shall not exceed 35 pounds per square foot.
c. The exterior wall dead load shall not exceed 20 pounds per square foot.
The structural height of the house is 32 feet and the floorlroof/wall dead loads do not exceed the
requirements outlined above;therefore,a OSMF is allowed for this project;
2) The exception outlined in ASCE 7-10,Sec 12.23.1 states detached one-and two-family dwellings of light
framed construction do not need to comply with the requirements of this section;therefore,the forces
transferred from the upper system to the lower system are not increased by the response modification
coefficient ratio;
545,,, h c.,,, ,)„ Nri:,,,d J. 4) '
3) See attached calculations(issued 02-02-2018). p' -4x ,„,s+e4 cd
--tnc.. ai;ur-F-tc3_
4) See attached calculations and revised drawings(issued 02-02-2018); 4--- Shy'
5) See attached calculations and revised drawings(issued 02-02-2018);
6) See attached calculations and revised drawings(issued 02-02-2018);
1x.
7) See attached calculations(issued 02-02-2018); wh' 1r`1&-? ,
`' -- COVj
8) See attached calculations and revised drawings(issued 02-02-2018); W ... + (of WAS,., C,eN.'
tiop :.
9) See attached calculations and revised drawings(issued 02-02-2018)V '" - 1;4 0 '
1-Guardrails and guardrail connections by others. en.re. _( . Q.'
,` #
Please contact thisofficewith ii,
° ^t ,p 34
c w t any questions regarding this letter. fiCj ; a' ;
si `
Sincerely, ' O I '
r FEB 0 2 2018
Jasper Baarbe,E.I.T.
