Boring logs for B-101 through B-103, dated January 2015, and Test Pit logs for • <br /> TP-1 through TP-6, dated April 2015. <br /> • <br /> According to the reports listed above, previous geotechnical investigations at the site have • <br /> included the following: <br /> • <br /> • Earth Consultants, Inc., 2000: excavated 16 test pits (TP-1 through TP-16) <br /> • URS, 2007: drilled two soil borings (B-1-07 and B-2-07) • <br /> • URS, 2009: drilled seven soil borings (B-1-09 through B-7-09) and vacuum potholed <br /> 11 locations • <br /> • ESNW, 2013: drilled two soil borings (B-1 and B-2) <br /> • ESNW, 2015: drilled three soil borings (B-101 through B-103) and excavated six test pits 41 <br /> (TP-1 through TP-6) • <br /> • <br /> We base our geotechnical evaluation of the site on the data presented in these reports and <br /> • <br /> accept the professional responsibility for the use and interpretation of the data in developing the <br /> conclusions and recommendations presented in this report. • <br /> • <br /> 3.0 PURPOSE AND SCOPE • <br /> • <br /> The purpose of this evaluation was to provide geotechnical engineering recommendations for <br /> use in design and construction of the proposed improvements. Specifically, we completed the • <br /> following scope of services: <br /> • Reviewed readily available published geologic data and previous reports for the site furnished • <br /> by Polygon for existing information on subsurface conditions in the site vicinity. <br /> • Prepared a report for the City that primarily addressed potential settlement at the site. • <br /> • Built and installed 16 settlement plates that will be part of a settlement monitoring program. • <br /> • Completed a subsurface exploration program that consisted of drilling three borings to <br /> • <br /> depths of up to 56.5 feet BGS. <br /> • <br /> • <br /> • <br /> G EO DESIGN? 2 Polygon-128-01:091615 • <br /> • <br />
