mi <br /> EVERETT <br /> WASHINGTON <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 7637 <br /> A RESOLUTION concerning <br /> 2021 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Annual Action Plan <br /> and allocations of CDBG, CDBG-CV, HOME, and 2060 Affordable Housing Trust Funds <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Everett recognized the need for certain housing and <br /> community development programs in Everett; and <br /> WHEREAS, Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds have been made available <br /> through the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development to provide for those <br /> programs, and Everett is to receive $889,065; and <br /> WHEREAS, Community Development Block Grant COVID-19 (CDBG-CV) funds have been made <br /> available through the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development to provide <br /> for community programs for activities that prevent, prepare for, and respond to COVID-19, and <br /> Everett has been notified that it will receive $789,857; and <br /> WHEREAS, through Interlocal agreements, the City of Everett will receive HOME funds and <br /> 2060 Affordable Housing Trust funds from Snohomish County this year; and <br /> WHEREAS,the Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC) for Housing and Community Development <br /> has studied the housing and community development needs and priorities for Everett and has <br /> made its recommendations for CDBG funds, CDBG-CV funds, HOME funds, and 2060 Affordable <br /> Housing Trust funds; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Everett has reviewed the recommendations from the <br /> above committee; and <br /> WHEREAS, the 2021 Annual Action Plan has been written in cooperation with the Everett <br /> Housing Authority, Snohomish County Housing Authority, Snohomish County, the City of <br /> Marysville and local non-profit service providers; and <br />
