May 5, 2021 <br /> Council Member Tuohy stated that the "Cranes for Peace" campaign is being <br /> hosted this month, which helps fight violence against Asian American Pacific <br /> Islanders, and the Schack Art Center has origami cranes for sale. <br /> Council Member Bader provided a liaison report from the Parks Board meeting <br /> held Tuesday evening. He also stated he attended the Regional Fire Authority <br /> Planning Committee meeting. <br /> Council Member Vogeli joined the Council meeting at approximately 6:38 p.m. <br /> Council Member Vogeli provided a liaison report from the Everett Transit. She <br /> stated that May is "Bike Everywhere Month," and May 21 is "Bike Everywhere <br /> Day. <br /> Council Member Roberts provided an update on the Everett Station District <br /> Alliance's "Convergence at Everett Station Study." He requested that Council <br /> schedule a briefing from this group. He also stated he met with the Forterra group, <br /> City staff, and community members to discuss conservation of the Wood Creek <br /> area. <br /> President Stonecipher stated the legislative team is scheduled to brief Council at <br /> the May 12 meeting. <br /> ADMINISTRATION UPDATE ON PRIOR BUSINESS <br /> Mayor Franklin stated there were no administrative comments. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> City Attorney David Hall requested a 25-minute executive session regarding two <br /> legal matters pursuant to RCW 42.30.110(1)(i) with a possible announcement to <br /> follow on one of the matters. <br /> 2 <br />
