• `„ • 1 ORDINANCE NO. 3868 2 AN ORDINANCE amending Sections 1.16.170, City of Everett 3 Code, and 1.24. 150, City of Everett Code, providing for the Creation of the position of First Class Dispatcher, Second 4 Class Dispatcher, and Third Class Dispatcher in the Fire and Police Communications Department, and providing for the 5 employment of five Third Class Dispatchers in the Fire and Police Communications Department, and fixing the salaries, 6 and declaring an emergency to exist. 7 Section 1 : That Section 1.16.170 Everett City Code be, and is hereby amended to read as follows : 8 1.16. 170 - FIRE AND POLICE COMMUNICATIONS DEPARTMENT 9 There shall be the following named employees in the 10 Fire and Police Communications Department, to-wit: 11 One Second Class Technician; one Third Class Technician; five Third Class Dispatchers; one or more Day Laborers . 12 It shall be the duty of such employees to perform 13 the duties indicated by the name of their employment and such other duties as the Chief of the Fire Department or Commissioner 14 of Safety may authorize and direct. 15 Section 2 : That Section 1.24.150 Everett City Code be, and is hereby amended to read as follows : 16 1.24. 150 - FIRE AND POLICE COMMUNICATIONS DEPARTMENT 17 Second Class Technician not over 4� 75.00 per mo. 18 Third Class Technician " 438.00 per mo. First Class Dispatcher " " 480.00 per mo. 19 Second Class Dispatcher " " 454.00 per mo.
