1 ORDINANCE NO. 3863 2 AN ORDINANCE approving and confirming the assessment and assessment roll of Local Improvement District No. 663 for the 3 improvement of: 4 21st Street from Baker Avenue to Cedar Street 5 by the construction of an asphaltic concrete pavement, thirty- six (36') in width, by the construction of Portland cement curbs 6 and gutters on both sides of the street, by the construction or reconstruction where necessary of all drainage facilities, sewers, 7 side sewers, sidewalks, water mains and hydrants with necessary appurtenances, by such grading or regrading as may be necessary 8 and doing such other work as may be necessary in connection there- with, all in accordance with Ordinance No. 3837 of the City of 9 Everett, levying an assessment on account thereof against the several lots, tracts, and parcels of land or other property as 10 shown on said roll, providing for the issuance of bonds therefor, and fixing the date of issue thereof. 11 NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: 12 Section 1: That the assessment and assessment roll of 13 Local Improvement District No. 663fbr the improvement of: 14 21st Street from Baker Avenue to Cedar Street 15 by the construction of an asphaltic concrete pavement, thirty- six (36' ) in width, by the construction of Portland cement curbs 16 and gutters on both sides of the street, by the construction or reconstruction where necessary of all drainage facilities, sewers, 17 side sewers, sidewalks, water mains and hydrants with necessary appurtenances, by such grading or regrading as may be necessary 18 to make a complete improvement, all in accordance with Ordinance No. 3837 of the City of Everett, as the same now stands, be, and 19 the same is hereby in all things approved and confirmed. 20 Section 2: That each of the lots, tracts and parcels of land as shown by said roll is hereby declared to be especially 21 benefited by said improvement in at least the amount charged against the same, and that there is hereby levied an assessment 22 against said lot, tract and parcel of land, or otherproperty appearing on said roll in the amount finally charged against 23 the same. Section 3: That the 15th day of March , 1962, 24 is hereby fixed as the date of the issuance of the bonds required 25 to be issued on account of such improvement. 26 Section 4: That the sum charged against each lot, tract and parcel of land and other property, or any portion of such 27 sum, may be paid during the thirty-day period following the date of first publication by the Treasurer that such assessment had 28 been placed in his hands for collection. 29 30 31 32
